Dear College Channel members,

We are so proud of the hard work you are all putting in to achieve your goals. Keep up the good work and let’s finish off this year with positive energy to stay strong. Check out these things to keep you on track!

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS:

  • Ten Tips for making the most of December 2025
  • Stay organized. Send your SAT & ACT scores to colleges that require them. Have your guidance counselor send your transcript and letters of recommendation to colleges. Check deadlines!
  • Set up your Student Portal– After a college receives your application, they will send you an email with instructions to set up your student portal on their website. Check it frequently for additional requirements. Set up a College Portal Spreadsheet.  Some colleges may require a Self-Reported Academic Record (STARS).  You may also want to send the 1st-quarter and midyear grades, if you’ve performed well or as required.
  • Financial Aid forms are required to receive most scholarships, grants, loans, and work study. Please contact Tony@collegechannel.net to help you complete these. They should not be completed by the student on their own.
  • Send us the final list of colleges to which you have applied and any early deadlines for financial aid.
